How do we find more energy?
How do we recharge from overwhelm and stress?
How do we replenish from everyday HSP life?

Realize the Full Potential of Your Highly Sensitive Energy

We are all healing and recovering from something (or many things!) simply because we are human. Highly Sensitive and Empathic energy is unique and although at times it may not feel like it, we are all vessels of astounding energy just waiting to be freed!

If our sensitive energy is not nurtured, over time it becomes dormant and increasingly imbalanced. And the longer our true energy is blocked the harder it becomes to bring it to light.

The practices of Highly Sensitive Healing are pathways to awakening our sensitive energy. Through these practices we become fully engaged with our authentic selves while creating a sustainable and healthy connection to our body, mind, and spirit.

On the surface it may feel easier to keep things the same, but when we are not living in the full power of our genuine self we are not truly living. The journey of transformation is winding, filled with distractions, stops and starts, but with useful tools and direction you will never lose your way.

Yoga for Every Body

Simple Nutrition for a Complicated World

The Practices

Yoga for Every Body

Yoga is a science of self-realization not self-improvement. It is a way for us to connect our body and mind to our true self. This can take many forms and paths within the multitude of practices that yoga offers, but the way yoga is often practiced in the west is not accessible to many people. The Highly Sensitive nervous system is unique and we benefit from practices that are tailored to our individual and unique needs.

Inside the membership we focus on increasing our flexibility, stability and restorative practices to increase mobility to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system response. Kundalini practices to shift the energies and emotions we carry as HSPs. Kundalini is a highly accessible style of yoga using poses, breathwork, meditation, mudras, and mantras.

Simple Nutrition for a Complicated World

What to eat? When to eat? How to eat? These questions and more permeate how we think of food today. Did you know our digestive system contains more neurons than the spinal cord! The Enteric Nervous System contains neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine. This means that the health of our digestive function greatly influences our brain chemistry. Modern living has disrupted our natural instincts about food and our bodies basic needs. Food does not need to be complicated or expensive to be healthy and nourishing. Inside the membership we use the teachings of Ayurveda to learn how to reject diet culture and reconnect with your intuitive digestive nature.

Learning to listen to what our bodies need vs. what they want is an essential component of our overall health. Mindful and humane eating awakens our inner vibrancy, increases awareness of our physical body and deepens our connection to the earth. The what, how, and when of eating is important, but it doesn’t need to be complicated. Learn to quiet your mind and listen to and trust your body.

The Purpose

Building a consistent practice is easier than you think!

The intention of the Healing Circle is meant to help you develop your own personal daily practice over time. Yoga practitioners know this as Sadhana (Sanskrit: साधन), a discipline undertaken in pursuit of a goal (the ultimate goal being to attain some level of spiritual realization.) Sadhana is a daily spiritual practice where we set aside some time each day to develop our self-awareness, self-discipline, and spiritual growth.

As an HSP I understand the frustration of spending time and money searching for that “something” to help you feel better and nurture your sensitive energy.

By taking small steps every day in ways that resonate with us as Highly Sensitive People we make lasting and positive shifts that improve our relationships, our self-love, and our overall health and well being.

Routinely applying daily practices is the most natural and efficient way to surrender our ego, to find relief from suffering, and to attain peace. Sadhana is the cornerstone of the discipline of yoga for this reason and is practiced as a means of cultivating overall discipline.

“Yoga is not a religion. It is a science, science of well-being, science of youthfulness, science of integrating body, mind and soul.” – Amit Ray

The Perspective

Each practice through Highly Sensitive Healing is approached from a trauma informed perspective. Our life experiences have a lasting impact on our entire mind-body system and where you are on your journey is not to be scrutinized or judged by anyone.

When we are in the mindset of shutting down our emotions and sensitivity it is often because of a story someone told us along the way, about who we are and who we are supposed to be.

Healing is about getting to know our minds and bodies, listening to what they need, and setting intentions to move through discomfort to find the healthiest version of ourselves.

The Philosophy

High Sensitivity is not a condition that needs to be cured. It is believed to have genetic roots and early childhood environments are thought to play a role in how our sensitivity develops and shapes us into adulthood.

The intention of these practices is to create a safe and supportive space to draw out the energy that is already within you, so you may move forward on your journey in the way that is healthiest for you.

The most important aspect of healing is taking responsibility for your own life and your personal journey. No one can live your life for you or ultimately tell you how to live or what choices are best for you. You are in charge of your own thoughts, feelings, and actions.
