Helping Highly Sensitive People turn down the noise

and tune into their inner guidance systems.

How do we increase our energy and resilience?
How do we recharge from overwhelm and stress?
How do we replenish our bodies, minds, and spirits?

Making small moves each day shifts our relationships, our self-love, and our overall health and well being in positive ways.

Sensitive nervous systems are unique. When we learn to nurture ourselves with compassion and patience we transform our bodies, minds, and spirits. Each of us is a vessel of radiant energy waiting to be freed!

Sensitivity Rising is here to guide you and help you to develop your own personal daily practice, or Sadhana (Sanskrit: साधन). Sadhana is a daily spiritual practice where we set aside some time each day to develop our self-awareness, self-discipline, and spiritual growth.

The Practices

Building a consistent wellness practice is easier than you think!

Mindful Movement

Increasing our flexibility and stability through accessible and restorative practices helps to expand our resiliency and stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system response. These practices also improve digestion and help to decrease physical pain and stress.

Simple Nutrition

Learning to listen to what our bodies need vs. what they want is an essential component of our overall health. The what, how, and when of eating is important, but it doesn’t need to be complicated. Learn to quiet your mind and listen to and trust your body.

Cultivate Energy

Kundalini Yoga is often called the Yoga of Awareness. The practices shift our energy and emotions efficiently while helping us create a deeper connection to our true self. Kundalini Yoga is highly accessible using simple poses, breathwork, meditation, mudras, and mantras.

As a Highly Sensitive Person I understand the frustration in searching for practices to nurture sensitivity.

What I believe in through offering these practices:

High Sensitivity is not a condition that needs to be cured. It is believed to have genetic roots and childhood is thought to play a role in how our sensitivity develops and shapes us into adulthood. The most important aspect of wellness is taking responsibility for your own life and your personal journey. No one can live your life for you or ultimately tell you how to live or what choices are best for you. You are in charge of your own thoughts, feelings, and actions.

When we are in the mindset of shutting down our emotions and sensitivity it is often because of a story someone told us along the way, about who we are and who we are supposed to be. Each practice is approached from a trauma informed perspective. Our life experiences have a lasting impact on our entire mind-body system and where you are on your journey is not to be scrutinized or judged by anyone.

Wellness is about getting to know our minds and bodies so we can listen to what we truly need. It’s about learning to tune out the noise and setting clear intentions so we can move through discomfort to find the healthiest version of ourselves. This is a safe and supportive space to help you discover and cultivate the radiant energy that is already within you. To help you move forward on your journey in the way that is healthiest for you.
