Why was this community created?
As HSPs the frequent emotional exhaustion and overwhelm we experience can take over our lives before we realize what’s happening. The longer we go without caring for ourselves the harder it can be to live the life we deserve.
In this space we can escape the trappings of social media and focus on our unique needs as we renew, replenish, and reset our physical, emotional, and mental health.
This a private online safe space where we can share our stories, learn from one another, and grow genuine bonds of friendship and connection.
This community will grow organically over time with the intent to become a close-knit community of caring and supportive HSPs. In other words… quality over quantity! 💕

What’s inside the circle?
We’re building a community of real people who want to be their best Highly Sensitive selves and who want to make a commitment to building a safe space.
When each of us contributes in their own balanced way, the greater our collective energy is uplifted for all HSPs.
Finding balance is essential to maintaining the health and vitality in our nervous system, and even our most well-intentioned actions can tax our HSP system. This is why we gather as a community- to uplift and support each other through the joys and struggles of living as an HSP.
It is completely FREE to join the community!

Sangha Circle
Sangha is a Sanskrit word (संघ ) that means “association,” “assembly,” or “community.” Today in the West, yoga sangha refers to a community of yoga practitioners. A sangha helps our learning process, breaks down boundaries and most importantly provides support for true transformation and spiritual practice.
The Sangha Circle includes:

Yoga

Yoga is a science of self-realization not self-improvement. It is a way for us to connect our body and mind to our true self. This can take many forms and paths within the multitude of practices that yoga offers, but the way yoga is often practiced in the west is not accessible to many people. In our sangha we will focus on:
- Flexibility and restorative practices through passive tension, myofascial release, and breathwork to increase mobility to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system response.
- Kundalini practices to shift the energies and emotions we carry as HSPs. Kundalini is a highly accessible style of yoga using poses, breathwork, meditation, mudras, and mantras.
Mindfulness

Mindfulness has become a buzzword and there are different understandings of the practice, of what it is and how it works. For HSPs and Empaths it often works best when we learn how to focus on the present moment and cultivate the ability to observe life with a positive empowered response.
Our minds can be a stormy sea of thoughts- overthinking, second-guessing, and all-consuming. We’re told that meditation is a thing you just sit down and do, and that there is a right and wrong way to do it. We explore different meditation practices to engage not only our minds, but also our bodies and spirits.
Marma
Frustrated, worried, stressed? There’s a marma point for that!
Marma is a simple, natural and safe therapy that works with the subtle energy or prana that flows through us all. Marma points are subtle energy acupressure points in our body used for healing in Ayurveda.
These areas in our physical body is where our consciousness connects to our bodily functions. Through these subtle energy points we can stimulate our internal organs, encourage self-healing while balancing and harmonizing our mind and body. (These points are similar to acupuncture points in Chinese Medicine.)
Nutrition

What to eat? When to eat? How to eat? These questions and more permeate how we think of food today.
Did you know our digestive system contains more neurons than the spinal cord! The Enteric Nervous System contains neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine.
This means that the health of our digestive function greatly influences our brain chemistry. Modern living has disrupted our natural instincts about food and our bodies basic needs. Food does not need to be complicated or expensive to be healthy and nourishing. In our Sangha we will learn how to reject diet culture and reconnect with your intuitive digestive nature.
The techniques offered inside the Sangha Circle are meant to help you develop your own personal daily practice over time. Yoga practitioners know this as Sadhana (Sanskrit: साधन), a discipline undertaken in pursuit of a goal (the ultimate goal being to attain some level of spiritual realization.) Sadhana is a daily spiritual practice where we set aside some time each day to develop our self-awareness, self-discipline, and spiritual growth.
“Yoga is not a religion. It is a science- science of well-being, science of youthfulness, science of integrating body, mind and soul.” – Amit Ray

What is a healing circle?
It is a safe haven where we work together as a community to remove the obstacles we face as Highly Sensitive People using holistic teachings, philosophies, and practices.
A brave space where we lift each other up and celebrate the joys and challenges of our High Sensitivity.
Talking circles, peacemaking circles, or healing circles, as they are variously called, are deeply rooted in the traditional practices of indigenous people.
Healing circles are often called hocokah in the Lakota language, which means a sacred circle and is also the word for altar. They consist of people who sit together and are committed to helping one another to heal.
Still not sure if you’re a Highly Sensitive Person?
HSPs process sensory input more deeply than others and tend to be more empathetic and thoughtful overall. But we’re also easily overstimulated and require frequent respites of peace and quiet.
